Antioxidants & Brain Health
Inflammation and chronic free radicals causes cellular damage and premature ageing, this can affect skin, eyes, organ function, heart and brain health. To counter the negative effects of environment toxins, stress, nitrates, inflammatory damage, alcohol, coffee and sugar intake, we can protect against premature ageing by increasing our intake of antioxidant nutrients. Antioxidants come from many sources; vitamins, phytochemicals, essential fatty acids, mycotherapy etc. Consuming a diet high in antioxidant rich foods and nutrients can help improve cellular integrity, slow the progression of cellular ageing and promote healthy brain health and cognition. Research suggests that adopting a plant based diet promotes healthier brain function long term. To download our delicious vegetarian and vegan recipes check out our FOOD menu.
